Robin Murphy, B.Sc.

Robin Murphy is a PhD candidate in the Auckland Neuropsychopharmacology Research Group led by Associate Professor Suresh Muthukumaraswamy in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland. Robin’s PhD project has been a Phase I trial of microdosing LSD in healthy adult males and has been co-supervised by Drs Rachael Sumner, David Menkes and Rhys Ponton. The data collection for this trial is now complete and the first paper of results have recently been published. Robin’s background is in Cognitive Psychology, having previously completed a BSc Hons in Psychology at the University of Auckland, as well as a BA in International Relations and Art History at Victoria University, and a BFA Hons at the University of Auckland. Robin is also assisting in the development of upcoming Phase II trials of microdosing for depression and late stage cancer, as well as on a full dose ketamine for depression trial.
