Acute Effects of Different Psychedelics and Their Interaction with Other Medications

Abstract
| Finding the right dose is critical when using psychedelics substances. Acute dose-dependent effects of MDMA, psilocybin, LSD, mescaline and DMT are described using data from the University Hospital of Basel studies in healthy subjects. Recommendations are provided for dosing, dose-adjustments to sex and weight and other predictors. Then potentially clinically relevant drug-drug interactions are discussed namely those with established treatments including antidepressants. |
