Michael Koslowski is psychiatrist and researcher at Charité University Medicine in Berlin, and resident at Iméra Institute for Advanced Studies in Marseille.
After his studies of philosophy and medicine, he trained in psychiatry in Berlin, Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, with psychodynamic psychotherapy training. He did his PhD on the dopaminergic reward system in schizophrenia, using fMRI neuroimaging.
He works as trial coordinator and therapist at the Berlin study site of the EPIsoDE trial, a Phase IIb study with Psilocybin-assisted therapy for treatment-resistant depression, in collaboration with the University Psychiatry Mannheim, MIND Foundation and USONA Institute. In Marseille, he recently created an interdisciplinary local group on mental health, and pushes forwards French-German cooperations in psychedelic research. He is also involved in dream research as local PI in the clinical trial “Biological functions of dreaming” IPU and Charité Berlin.
