Three Cases with Psychedelic-assisted Therapy of Depression

We present in this clinical symposium three case reports about treatments with psychedelic-assisted therapy from different contexts. The first patient was treated during and after a psilocybin trial at the university clinic in Zurich, Switzerland. The second case is from the ongoing EPIsoDE trial on psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression in Berlin. The third patient was treated with Ketamin-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in the OVID clinic in Berlin. Here we do not show “easy” cases (if there are any), but rather challenging treatment situations, that were quite demanding both for the clients and the therapists. As a special feature, we are deeply grateful that some of the patients will be present at the symposium to answer questions from the audience, and provide their personal view on the treatment course and long-term outcome. Together we can learn how to improve these therapies, and adapt them to the individual needs of our clients.
