Dr Sarah Bateup is Head of Therapy at Clerkenwell Health, Sarah is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, lecturer, researcher and senior health care leader. She has spent her whole career working in mental health. She founded the first primary care cognitive behavioural therapy service in the Southwest of England. She went on to teach the clinicians of the future at Kings College London and Exeter University before joining ieso digital health where she helped scale the company from 10 therapists to 1000. Sarah was instrumental in learning how to use technology to amplify the effect of psychological therapy and her work has resulted in a number of awards and publications. Whilst at ieso she studied 1000 therapists in order to learn why some therapists are more effective than others. Her work took her to COMPASS Pathways where she was Head of Therapy Research and Training before joining Clerkenwell Health (Head of Therapy) and Oliva Health (Chief Clinical Officer).
