Registration fees

Participation fees for seminars, further education, conferences, etc., do not include accommodation and meals – if not explicitly mentioned in the event description!
Our participation fees are exempt from VAT in accordance with § 4 Abs. 22a UStG.

Price

For all tickets, the base price stated on https://insight-conference.eu/ applies.

Discount

Individuals with low income and assets can receive a discount on individual participation fees for both conference and workshop tickets. In order to receive this discount, a proof should be attached to the order. On request, this must be documented in writing.

Upgrade your livestream ticket to an on-site ticket

On request, you can turn your livestream ticket into an on-site ticket and pay the additional price difference via bank transfer (only while stocks last).

Due date of the participation fee

The participation fee is due at least two weeks after purchase.

Accommodation

If not explicitly mentioned, the participants have to take care of accommodation themselves.

Withdrawal from an event

The cancellation or cancellation of the seminar must be in writing – by mail or by email and be confirmed by us in writing. The following conditions apply:

1. Individual events (from 1 to 7 days)

Cancellation / rebooking up to 4 weeks before the event begins:
A processing / transfer fee of € 75.00 is due. If the event fee has already been paid, it will be refunded within 4 weeks after the cancelled event less this fee.

Cancellation / rebooking within 4 weeks before the seminar / event begins:
A reimbursement of the event fee – less 75.00 handling / transfer fee will only be made if a person on the waiting list could claim the reserved space or if you send a substitute participant. The cancelling participant has the right to name a substitute participant, who enters into the contract and assumes the rights and obligations from it. Entry into the contract is only effective if the entrant declares this in writing to the institute prior to the beginning of the event.
Otherwise, the participant will be required to pay the event fee in full, minus any expenses saved by MIND Foundation. This also applies to short-term cancellations due to illness or cancellation of the event participation. In special cases, the customer can request a refund in the form of a voucher, that can be redeemed for any other event hosted by the MIND Foundation.
The participant remains free to prove that the cancellation of the participation is attributable to a breach of contract by MIND Foundation.

Important NOTE

We recommend to take out a seminar insurance.

Cancellation by the organizer

Should the MIND Foundation be forced to cancel the event for an important reason (also at short notice), MIND is obliged to repay the full event fee.
Further claims to MIND Foundation do not exist.

1. Cancellation due to COVID-19 regulations

If an event has to be cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations, the MIND Foundation will act according to the German consumer protection law at that time.

During the registration process for INSIGHT 2021 tickets you will be asked to agree to our Corona Policy which states the following:

1) In the case that the on-site conference has to be cancelled due to political regulations and the event must be switched to a digital format, I agree to accept one of the two following options:

(A) turn my on-site ticket into an online ticket and additionally received an online voucher* of 300 Euro (if you bought a standard on-site ticket) or 100 Euro (if you bought a reduced on-site ticket) or

(B) turn my on-site ticket into an online ticket and get the price difference directly reimbursed (on-site ticket price minus the online ticket price at the time of purchase).

2) If I (as an attendee) cannot come to the conference because of travel restrictions in my home country, my on-site ticket will automatically be turned into an online ticket. Furthermore, only upon request, I can get the price difference (on-site ticket price minus the online ticket price at the time of purchase) reimbursed in the form of an online voucher*.

*Online vouchers can be redeemed for online events and products of the MIND Foundation. You can find an overview of all online events in our calendar and all online products and courses on our online learning platform.

Underbooking of the seminars

If an event is underbooked, we reserve the right to shorten the event’s total duration with unchanged content. We reserve the right to hold the seminar with less facilitators than announced for events with more than one facilitator. The participants have an extraordinary right of termination in case of a change of seminar facilitators.
This termination can be explained to the organizer by 7 days before the beginning of the seminar by mail, or e-mail. Decisive is the time of receipt of the declaration by us.
A later statement is only effective if the participant proves that he / she has reached our notice late and the notice of termination was given immediately after knowledge.
The decision as to whether or not there will be a shortage will be made at least 10 days before the start of the event and they will inform the participants immediately with reference to the intended changes.
Claims against MIND Foundation to reduce the event fee are not incurred in both cases.

Liability

MIND Foundation and its legal representatives or vicarious agents are only liable for grossly negligent or deliberate behavior; The same applies to other persons (vicarious agents), insofar as MIND Foundation must be attributed their behavior.

Physical and mental stability of the participant

Each participant is responsible for their own physical and mental fitness for our respective events. He / she undertakes to comply with all additional information provided by us.
Liability for any kind of impairment due to the lack of suitability of a participant or due to non-observance of instructions is expressly excluded as far as legally permissible.
For permanent medical treatment, because of physical or mental illness, please inform us and present a certificate from the attending physician about the ability to participate.

Carpooling

We do not assume any liability for the journey to the venue, even within the framework of carpools agreed between the participants. Internal liability agreements between the participants of such carpools remain reserved to them.
Insofar as travel contract law applies, our liability is limited in accordance with § 651A BGB to a maximum amount of three times the event price.
Any further disclaimers remain unaffected.
