Dipl.-Psych. Manuela Brand works as a clinical psychologist in private practice in the Rhineland Palatinate, Germany. She holds a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mannheim and a master`s degree of Advanced Studies in Psychotherapy (MASPT) from the University of Bern. Manuela is trained in behavioral therapy (CBT) and was participant of the first training of the “Swiss Medical Association for Psycholytic Therapy” (SÄPT) on accompanying people in substance-induced altered states of consciousness (2019-2022). Manuela is also working as a psychotherapist in the EPIsoDE study in Mannheim – a large-scale phase II study at the Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) in Mannheim investigating the efficacy and safety of psilocybin in treatment-resistant depression – where she also leads their integration group.
