Jörg-Simon Schmid is an educationalist working on an interdisciplinary understanding of “Integration” in the context of altered states of consciousness. Together with Prof. Dr. Gundula Barsch he is leading the project “Integrative use of cannabis ” at the University of Merseburg (Department of “Drugs and Social Work”)
In his dissertation “Integrative use of drugs – adolescents between paranoia and spirituality”, Jörg-Simon Schmid uses qualitative interviews to examine biographically relevant factors and processes for the integration of drug related experiences among adolescents.
