Ioana Ivan is a psychotherapist specialised in contextual behavioral interventions and process-based CBT. She is an doctoral researcher at the Doctoral School of Applied Cognitive Science at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her project focuses on evaluating clinically relevant cognitive change after psychedelic experiences and extending the applicability of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy from treating mental health disorders to optimizing the training programs for mental health professionals.
Ioana teaches seminars in social psychology, educational psychology and cognitive psychology. She is a facilitator of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy trainings for both mental health professionals and psychotherapy trainees and a co-coordinator of the Cluj-Napoca uniMIND Journal Club.
