Sam Dunscombe was awarded his DMA (doctor of music arts) from UC San Diego in 2018, where he worked at the intersection of electro-acoustic theory and practice, composition, sound studies, and performance musicology. Sam has presented at conferences and universities around the world, performed at major festivals on four continents, and has released multiple solo and collaborative records.
