Umberto Pannacci obtained his medical degree at Univeristy of Perugia (Italy) in 2017, actually he is on his last year of residenship in Psychiatry of Childhood and Adolescence and Child Neurology at University of Bologna. For the last ten months he worked at the center of Sleep disorder at Hôpital Universitaire Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris studying REM sleep and the correlations between Narcolepsy and Psychosis. In 2021 he joined the newly born Italian study group for Psychedelic Research (Gruppo di Studio Italiano sulla Ricerca Psichedelica) and he started the 3 years training program on Psychedelic Therapy hosted by ONCA foundation.

His main interests are in the field of psychotherapy, psychoneuropharmacology, and their possible integration.
