Christopher Schmidt graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Trier, where he is currently completing his Master’s degree. As part of his bachelor’s thesis, he investigated the attitudes of mental health professionals towards the potential implementation of psilocybin-assisted therapy for the treatment of different mental disorders. Currently, he and his colleagues are conducting a qualitative study with patients of the EPIsoDE trial to investigate psychotherapeutic mechanisms of change in psilocybin-assisted therapy.
