Anna Schibli is a master student of medicine at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Fascinated by the paradigm shift in the field of psychiatry due to therapeutic administration of hallucinogenic substances, she dedicated her master’s thesis to the topic of psychedelics and fear extinction. Her work gives important insights into the neurobiological mechanisms by which psychedelics reduce anxiety and fear in patients with PTSD or anxiety disorders. By participating in the research of new therapies in psychiatry, she aims to contribute to a holistic, innovative approach in the field of mental health.
