Uwe Herwig is Medical Director at the Center for Psychiatry Reichenau, academic hospital of the University of Konstanz, Germany. He founded and headed for years the research group for emotion regulation at the University Hospital for Psychiatry Zurich, also with contact to the research with psychedelic substances. He obtained doctoral degrees from the Universities of Göttingen and ETH Zurich, and he teaches at the Universities of Konstanz, Ulm and Zurich.
