My neuroscience research is focused on perceptual experiences of psychedelics, specifically visual experiences while under DMT. I’m using fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy) to look at the visual cortex in the brain while people are using DMT while inside virtual reality/extended reality (VR/XR). I’m originally from Los Angeles, California and received two bachelor degrees from the University of Arizona and my masters in Wales, UK at the University of South Wales. I’m also interested in the intersection of cannabis and gaming, and to a larger extent, psychoactive substances and technology. |
