Dimitri Daldegan-Bueno is a psychologist with a master’s degree in Psychobiology (Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP). For his master’s, he studied the neurobiological effects of ayahuasca using a pre-clinical animal model and he is also conducting a systematic review on the topic. In addition, he investigates the psychological outcomes and therapeutic potentials related to the use of ayahuasca and cannabis through epidemiological surveys. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Cooperation for Ayahuasca Research and Outreach (ICARO – University of Campinas, Brazil) and is currently an associate researcher at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland, New Zealand
