Rob Coffey (BA (Hons)/MSc Trinity College Dublin/ DCU) is a Jungian and humanistic psychotherapist (accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), and qualified transpersonal therapist.

As co-founder of Inwardbound psychedelic retreats in the Netherlands (www.inwardbound.nl), Rob has facilitated several hundred people through the complete process of psilocybin retreats, from screening through to integration. His talk entitled ” ‘Storming the gates of heaven’- the challenges of psychedelic therapy from a psychotherapeutic perspective” will share some insights from his experiences.

Rob has been a student of Amazonian curanderismo for a number of years, having done several dietas with the renowned Mahua lineage in Peru. He co-wrote a code of ethics for plant medicine facilitators “A guideline for navigating sexual trauma and harm prevention in psychedelic ceremony space” (www.saferceremony.com), as well as helping to draft the dutch Guild of Guides Code of Ethics.”
